Rear disc brake backing plate

Hello Jeepers.

I plan to recondition the rear axle of my 2006 Rubicon and had a question concerning the rear disc brake hardware. Because they're pretty badly rusted, I'd like to replace the backing plates, but finding the OEM ones is impossible (discontinued). Are the backing plates that are included in drum conversion kits direct OEM replacements and does anyone know where I can buy them alone (seem to be only available as a kit with rotors/calipers/pads)?

I believe their parts are OEM compatible.

i think dorman makes some but they're not worth the cost.
yes try BMB if anybody knows where to get them they will.

I ordered and installed the BMB backing plate assemblies on my RJ60 last weekend. Nice product.

I’m in a similar situation what did the backing plates end up costing ? All I can find is the Dorman for $250+

We don't have any. They went on back order during Covid and when they finally returned, the quality was crap. I wouldn't use them on anything I own and if I won't use it, I won't sell it. Same thing happened to rear brake drums. They are no longer round.

Is there a junk yard replacement for these rust belt guys ? Liberty ?
