Rear end parts

Anybody know if the rear pinion bearings, seals, axle bearings and seals are the same for all 3 rear ends for the 04? I called autozone to order them and they never said anything about the model I told them I have a rubicon and they said the only questions it asks them are about the motor and 2wd or 4x4. Any help?

Man, I wish I still had my "diff bible" so I could say yes or no. I can tell you the axle bearings are different between the 44 and 35. The 44 uses a set 10 and the 35 a Torrington style with separate seal. Your best bet is to use a diff shop, not Autozone. I am sure @AOR can set you up. Give Allen a call or check his website.

I just ordered bearings/seals for the Dana 35. Wound up using RockAuto because they had everything. Amazon was out of stock. Start with the metal tag on the diff cover to ID the Bill Of Materials (BOM) and then reference a Spicer catalog on-line.

Doing a diff is pretty advanced and you'll need some special tools.
