Hey everyone,

Is my rear pinion angle bad? Let me know.

I have some slight vibrations after a 2.5" lift. Mostly around 15-30 mph. When accelerating in those speeds too. Nothing at higher speeds.

Check the photos:

transfer case output angle needs to match the pinion input angle. That way they will cancel each other out when it spins. Not as good a SYE but it worked for me with a 3.5" suspension and 1" body lift. You will need adjustable rear control arms to do it, at least the lowers anyway.

The best way to be certain is with an angle finder. I'm guessing the vibes showed up directly following the new lift?

If the vibes are a direct result of your new ride height, chances are you need to adjust the pinion slightly. Check the angles to be sure.

My 2.5" lift resulted in zero vibes. But I had previously installed a MML in preparation.
