For the 5th time since I purchased the '01 Jeep in 2020 the red Passenger Restraint indicator was illuminated on the lower right of the instrument cluster which means the wheat bulb in the Passenger Disarm Switch had burned out. Removed the switch and measured out with a VOM and again the bulb had burned out.
No problem... I desoldered the old bulb, soldered in a replacement bulb and reinstalled the switch; the red Passenger Restraint indicator illuminated within 5 seconds along with the beep indicating the system had not passed during testing.
Removed the switch and tested the bulb; the bulb tested good, but there was a overheated resistor on the circuit board which heated up the copper traces; I could not repair the circuit board and was not sure of the specs for the resistor due to overheating.
Found a used Passenger Disarm Switch (56047002AA) on Ebay for an outstanding price.
Received the part in todays mail, tested the bulb, components and traces; the components and traces tested good, but as I suspected... the bulb was bad. Replaced the bulb on the circuit board and installed the switch; the red Passenger Restraint indicator on the instrument cluster went out almost immediately.
My suspicions are that the resistor had been going bad for some time which caused the bulbs to burn out prematurely.

Since you now have a known good one (hopefully), did you check the resistor value so future generations can replace the resistor if their board hasn't toasted? :)

Yes here is a picture prior to installing the unit.
These are the intact resistors; IF I read them correctly are:

BRN, BLK, GRN, YLW & SLVR 1.05 @ 10%
BRN, BLK, RED, GRY & BRN 10.2 @ 1%

I hate those 5-band resistors, they're a pain to read.
I suspect they should be read in the opposite direction (the gap looks wider between black and brown).
GRY, YEL, GRN, BLK, BRN = 845 * 1 1%
BRN, GRY, RED, BLK, BRN = 182 * 1 1%
