Remove a/c relay for winter driving.

Is it ok to remove the a/c compressor relay during the winter? I find it incredibly annoying that the compressor constantly kicks on and off while defrost is engaged. That and it certainly doesn't help the "performance" of the 2.5.

Pull it if you want , or add an inline switch between the relay and compressor to control what you want. Remember you will have better windshield clearing with the compressor running , However , don't freak out when many act like not having A/C on defrost is a crime. Cars had defrost without A/C for decades.
1980's Mustangs and Camaro's had switches on the carb to shut off A/C at wide open throttle.
