Listed my 2003 manual Rubicon locally to sell/trade for a comparable 2003-2004 6 cylinder automatic (doesn’t need to be a Rubicon). I’ve owned a 2003 and 2004 without any issues. I’ve read where the 05 & 06 have some issues. Any other “good” years to consider? I’m getting a few offers for years other than 03/04.

05/06 issues are largely related to the PCM and that problem is now solved by @Wranglerfix. I personally wouldn't worry about it.

The main biggie issue I've heard in those years is with the '05 manual 6 speed transmission, so looking for an auto it's not an issue.

Supposedly resolved in the '06, but it seems the 6 speed is kind of a turkey either way.

2002 auto. The last year of the 32rh. I'd trade mine for one.
