Savvy Under Armor

But in all seriousness, has anyone used the Under Armor t-case skid for an ax-5 and mated it with another company's engine skid? I'm not dead set on that plan, and I know it makes more sense to use a TT and engine skid from the same company, I just really like that cross member in Savvy's Under Armor.

What's to stop you from just building your own cross member out of DOM, and install your skid plate of choice? The Savvy UA is a very well designed system, but you can come up with something similar with a little work if Savvy doesn't offer an option.

Right now - time and money are my limiting factors for just about everything. I just don't have the cash for the tools needed to fab something like that, nor do I have the time required to do it (as well as space since I live in an apartment complex).

Also, to be completely honest, I don't currently have the knowledge to know what makes a good crossmember. I'm sure I could learn...but I've got a lot of stuff I have to know for my board exams this summer that are quickly approaching. So it goes back to the time constraint.
