i just bought a 2004 wrangler X. i took the carpet out and bought new seats and new trailmax seat sliders. i am putting the risers on and it seems like the left and right risers are exactly the same. the one on the right side of the driver's side faces where i would tighten the nuts inboard ie the smooth side out and the one on the left side has the smooth finished side facing inboard also so i would tighten the nuts on the outside ie closest to the door. i would have thought both would have the more finished smooth side facing out on both of them. possibly you cannot even see them when the seats are in. did Jeep just make one piece to be used for both sides of seat.
