Sell hard top for twill top?

I would not sell a hardtop if I had a nice one. Used ones around me are as much as a new one, and freight is $400 on a new one. Can't find any nice ones local tome for less than $1600.

I have a 2002 TJ with a framed soft top, and will be getting a nice when I find one.

I did test drive a TJ with a Bestop frameless softtop, and it was very different when driving on the highway at 65 mph than my framed softop.

I bought a second TJ for my daughter a few months ago, and it came with a hard top and a soft top. Noise wise it is a little quieter, but not a ton. I was gonna sell the hardtop, but a friend suggested keeping it since you can't get a factory one any more, and it won't lose value.
I built a shelf for it in the garage, so it is out of the way, and protected. Also the wife loves the storage for her deck cushions.

I tried to sell mine for 800 bucks, and didn't get any takers. I thought the same thing...get the best softtop Bestop makes and only have one. I don't run my Tj in the winter, so no real need for a hardtop. Anyway, I'm just going to keep it now. I had one guy offer me 250, another said 400...SMH
