Sensor problem? Crank / Cam code P1391

Hey everyone,

Ive been reading everything I can find on here related to sensors and symptoms I have and I haven't been able to knock my problem out.

I'm having some odd symptoms and Ive figured out how to "correct" the symptoms but not the code. My TJ is a '99 2.5. Currently it has a new mopar crank sensor and recent unknown cam position sensor. The jeep starts and runs perfectly but once you hit 2k rpms the engine starts to jump and buck terribly until it hits ~2750 rpm then its back to normal. The band aid for this is after you run it for a bit to restart the engine, then it runs perfect throughout the rpm range. This seems to be temperature (weather) related, when its really cold weather the bandaid method doesn't work but its been warmer lately and I can let it idle for a few min and restart and its all good.

From what Ive read everything points to the crank sensor but it didn't make any difference after installing. Are there any other things I should look at? Any ideas?

I had a P340 code and I replaced the Cam shaft and Crank shaft PSs and the distro cap and rotor just since they were all 25 years old and the Distro and rotor were very cheap. Runs great now. Maybe this code covers some of the same stuff...

I replaced the cam sensor and crankshaft sensor today in my 2002 tj. No luck, still getting P0340, P0351,P0352, P0353, and P1391

have you fond a fix for this? Im having the same issue.
