Shift Boot!

So I installed a new shift boot(rubber OEM style) for my 5 speed and while it's great to keep the heat out it binds up and makes it hard to shift into reverse and second gear. I have decided to order a custom leather boot to make shifting easier as it once was.

Does a B&M shifter help in anyway? I have read a lot of posts that go either way.

I can't speak to the B&M shifter, but it's strange that it's giving you issues. Did you buy a mopar boot or a cheap knockoff?

I also have read nothing but mixed reviews. Personally I wouldn't imagine it does much (if anything at all) though.

Must be a cheap knockoff. It seems to be to thick and bunches up in the corners.

I like this one.... Might do it someday...

I like baseball and hot dogs, just kinda a sucker for stuff that's OEM or could be if someone didn't know much
