I have a 1999 TJ with a 3” suspension lift and 3” body lift. I am looking to purchase new shocks for ride improvement. Any suggestions on the model of shocks? Also, I was wondering what size shocks to get. It appears some brands have shocks for 2.5” lifts and 3.5” lifts. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

There are lots of threads on here discussing the subject and the different brands. To get you started, don't always trust shocks that are advertised for lift height. The best way to be sure your getting what you need is to cycle and measure your suspension. Then order the shock with the best length for your application. As far as brands go Rancho 5000x are fairly well regarded for a budget shock. Some of us have also had good luck with BlackMax. They are a bit softer riding than the Rancho's as they are hydraulic instead of gas charged. Also, make sure you are running appropriate tire pressure as overinflated tires will ruin your ride.

Welcome

As mentioned, Ranchos are decent for the money.
They're known to be a little long for the application.
