Should I be worried wear on new Crown OPDA gear?

Recently removed and reinstalled new crown OPDA and found some wear on the gear. Is this a problem?

That amount should be fine - good you caught it early. Monitor it over the next few thousand to see if it gets worse on the cam side.

Thanks. I’ll keep an eye on it. Was just double checking I had everything right because I keep getting P0344. Changed sensor twice already.

I wouldn't be worried about that all. That amount of wear is normal.

If you have the original Mopar sensor take it out and reuse it. Aftermarket non Mopar ones have a lot of issues. And if you keep getting the code you might have to ensure it’s at the right timing by setting TDC and lining up makes. Cam timing is shit hard work.

Unfortunately I don’t have the original. Replaced twice with Mopar sensors. Checked the wiring and didn’t notice any issues with them. Might just try again and reinstall it if I keep getting P0344 code.
