This is a longshot but thought I would ask to see if anyone else has seen this.

I like many here had to replace my exhaust manifold , its cracked. It actually came apart fairly easy. I was cleaning the old gasket off and noticed something strange as I was checking the valves out.

A foreign object that looked like a pill sitting in one of the intake ports. I have no idea how it got there , its aluminum and has been riding on the valve for some time. It's too big to get sucked into the cylinder, I'm thankful for that. Picture attached, anyone ever see something similar, I think it's been there since the day it rolled of the assembly line.

Okay, that one I have no clue on. I can't think of anything that would possibly go to

Not from a TJ at least.

Awesome that you found it, probably rattling around in their like a ball in a paint can. Never seen that before.

Could that be one of the dowels that the intake manifold rests on until you put in the bolts?
