Soft glass slider frame

I broke one of my glass sliders.
Does any one know if the steel frame of the glass slider uppers can be used for the regular soft top skins? I don't want to cut apart my sliders if it wont work.

Soft uppers are ok, but having had both, I'd definitely attempt to fix the sliders if it's at all possible.

Window shattered when it fell out.

Any glass shop can replace that.

With the rain moving in i took a chance and cut off the rest of the fabric that was left. (Plastic Frame separated from fabric) and tried putting on the soft zipper style windows on the steal frame. It does work. With a lot of stretching and 2 grown men and 1 wife.

Yes i did leave it in the sun. Hot ass Arizona sun.

Had to cut a couple steel tabs but it did work. It saved me from buying new frames. It wasn't the best way to do it.
