Soft Top Question

So, a while back I purchased a new replacement soft top for my daughters TJ. While I was gone she installed the new top on her old frame. Well, the other day I noticed she must have missed swapping something over because the bottom of the back window just flaps in the wind and nothing is keeping the rain from coming right in her back area behind the back seat!!! DOH!!!
I do not remember...is there a metal piece that should be there that connects somehow to the top sides of the rear of the body on each side of the tailgate? Anyone have a picture? Can I buy that piece by itself?

yes there is a tail gate bar that connects to the bottom of the rear window and sorta clips on to the sides of the rear body, it also has a rubber strip that snugs up to the top of the tail gate to insulate

If you still have the old top, you should be able to take this out of the old rear window. Did she throw it out?

There should also be two plastic inserts that zip in just to the sides of where the window zips in. They help keep the top on if you remove all the windows. Hopefully you can salvage those too if you have the old top still.

Nope, unfortunately we just moved and the old top is LONG GONE!!!

Might want to add those too if she likes to have the windows out. Could probably just find some plastic to cut and put in those locations.
