my jeep will shift fine but when I down shift it stalls out the clutch will be in just dies on me ?!
Does it stall the same way it would if you stepped on the brakes while in gear? I couldn't see how it would only stall on downshifts if the clutch is still in. There should be no connection from the wheels to the engine if the clutch pedal is depressed. Maybe I'm not understanding the issue here. How many times has it stalled on you so far?
This maybe to late on the above forum but my 2005 6 speed manual wrangler which I just replaced the battery is doing the same thing. Stalls when down shifting from 3rd to 2nd when turning or pulling up to a stop sign. It shifts fine otherwise and idles good. Any suggestions?
