I have been working with my mechanic to solve a stalling problem on my 2005 Wrangler X, roughly 140,000 miles. The vehicle was stalling at highway speed, but would eventually, after pumping the cluctch 4-5 times, would come back. The mechanic hooked up a pressure sensor on the fuel line to test the fuel pump and was getting a drop in the pressure, so it was replaced. He mentioned prior to the replace that it could be fuel pump, could be cam sensor. After fuel pump was replaced, the stalling continued. This time I could save the stall by getting on the clutch quick enough 1 time, and downshift to bring my RPM's up. So we replace the cam sensor today. On the highway running errands it continued after the cam sensor was replaced. When the vehicle stalls, the check engine light blinks quickly, but never stays on, or produces a code for my mechanic. At this point in time i have turned to the forum, after the two tested issues and replacements, haven't fixed the issue, and i am done chasing this problem from one end to the other.
