Steering shaft bracket bolts (can I replace them with regular bolts?)

Well it took me a lovely 45 min to get the pinch bolts off the bracket last night to install a taller bracket to match the BL. Can I replace with a regular bolt? Seemed unnecessarily difficult to remove, not sure if it was over torqued by the factory or what, no signs of loctite. Probably the most difficult hardware I’ve had to remove on ,y TJ other than ones I’ve cut/drilled out. Thoughts?

You can replace them with new bolts as long as it's the right grade of bolt.
