Suspension Question

I bought my second tj recently. The man I bought it from didn't want to put lift kit on the jeep but still wanted to lift it so he put it on JK coils. (they sit 2in higher). I am looking to swap back to a TJ suspension. If I buy TJ coils and swap out the ones on my jeep (JK coils) to a set of used TJ coils, will I need to replace anything else? Or should the coils swap be just that simple?

Unless he changed any other parts you should be fine with just replacing the springs and doing an alignment. Take a look under and see what, if anything, has been changed. Keep in mind that there were many different coils used by Jeep. If you grab used a set try and get all 4 from one Jeep.

thank you! that’s exactly what i was planning to do with all four from the same jeep, will double check the only parts he swapped were the coils. Appreciate it!
