Just to keep from having to rework something later, I need clarification. I went ahead and left my control arms at the length they were with my old axle. If I'm thinking correctly, the axle will naturally move towards the rear when at full droop. I understand I'll need a shorter front DS due to longer housing, but does the axle look like it's sitting where it should?

I don't personally see anything of value with respect to adjusting your control arms in those pictures. There's a good write up about adjusting control arm length somewhere, that's probably a good place to start.
