Pulled out this trunk that came with the jeep from the factory. also know it will fit an 8 inch sub because that’s what I had in previously. Still looks great and functions as a locking trunk for when the top is off. I’ll start at $50 OBO and located in Ventura County CA

Interesting. I have never seen one of these. Is this an OEM part?
Any pictures of it installed, will you be willing to ship it?

I believe so, that little sticker on the inside is dated 08/02/00, and that’s the year of my jeep. I did quite a bit of searching and could never find the exact part, but locking trunks that resemble it. I’ll try and get some pics in the jeep later, but it just has two bolts that fit into some brackets in the floor, and the whole thing pivots on the two bolts. works really good as a sub box too. I’d be willing to ship as well

I recently took off my hide a trunk and sold it, sure enough that weekend someone broke into my Jeep, nothing but change was taken but still looking for some more security for things now lol.

Sounds good, i’m assuming you sold the brackets that secured it to the tub as well? I still have everything needed.
