Just stopping by to say THANK YOU to this forum for fixing a "crank-no-start" issue on my 1999 TJ Sahara. The Jeep had been sitting for about 3-4 weeks while I worked on some cosmetic repairs and when I tried to start it, it turned over just fine (after charging the battery), but simply would not start. Following advice I found on this forum, I had the newish battery checked (it was good) and made sure all my connections were clean and tight. Still no start. Next I tried the fuel priming trick of turning the key to the "on" position and back off 10-times. You could clearly hear the fuel pump operating each time. On the next try at starting, the engine fired off immediately and ran great. I've started it multiple times since with no problems. Happy not to be chasing electrical sensor issues for now. Sure that will come later.

You guys have also helped me change the transmission fluid, a headlight switch, blower resistor, blower motor and the HVAC switch panel. I just wish I had read more posts about removing the rear seat before tackling that little job. I might have avoided breaking all four bolts. However, I learned my lesson and took my time with the front seat bolts and got them out successfully.

Anyway, the posts from all of you TJ Savants are greatly appreciated.
