So I’m trying to think ahead a little bit here, I’m looking at doing a lift, either before the snow flies or in the spring. I’m currently at the moment leaning towards going with rusty’s off-road or a iron rock kit. I want to to end up in the 3-4 inch range. I’m more than likely not going to go bigger than a 33 inch tire, and I wanna be able to run normal every day or flex without issues. I currently have to be budget minded in regards to the lift, as I have a lot of other smaller things going on with the Jeep that I’m dealing with and working like crazy at the moment. I’m looking at the rusty’s basic kit for 3 inches, or iron rocks basic or mid level kit for 3 or 4 inches. I’m not going to be trail ready particularly until next year, just need to be ready for the New England winter driving season. I’m looking at lifting ASAP, then upgrading later on. I’m planning on SYE and drive shaft, quick disconnect sway bar links, steering linkage upgrades. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with the lifts that I’m thinking about, and if there are upgrades that I need to plan on that I haven’t listed? I’m also open to suggestions on lifts and such, so please feel free to leave a comment. I’m starting with 02 TJ 4.0 5 speed, with 31’s and a stock suspension. Thank you guys in advance for any and all suggestions and information.

I wouldn’t run either of those lifts, especially Rusty’s, which is complete garbage.

If you want a budget lift for 33s and 4” of lift, the Zone 4.25” lift seems to be a decent lift for the price. It’s not going to last as long as a Currie or Savvy lift, but it will be far better than the ones you mentioned.
