Tire life expectancy

Guys,

I am in South FL and it is hot as f**k here especially during the summer, so maybe hot asphalt is causing faster wear.

I have found tires disintegrate faster than they wear…

I got new tires for my TJ in 2021… and it made a huge difference even though my tread was fine… running Terra Grappler 33s

On our van and on our son’s car four years seems to be our max even with lower mileage

I was told by Discount Tire that Cooper tires use rubber compounds that hold up well in hot conditions. I have no idea if that was just a sales pitch or true, just passing it along.

Ya, I wouldn't believe anything they say. They just make it up as they go. $10 says if you brought in a Jeep with Coopers and said you were having problems, the guy would tell you Coopers aren't good in hot conditions and you need new tires.
