TJ has no power when in gear

The cats would definitely be next on my list.

Be careful though, you can't just get rid of them or it will throw check engine lights that won't go away (with the exception of the third cat under the vehicle).

Often times the clogged cats don't throw any codes. Mine didn't when they went bad.

Oh yes, I ditched my third cat as well, but on mine, it was the pre-cats that clogged, not the third cat.

Do you have a small cat on the down pipe? Thats where mine was plugged. Remove the the farthest up stream o2 sensor and drive it. It will be loud but if its that cat it should run fine. You`ll get a code.

Long time ago, I had that same problem with a toyota, engine ran real nice, but as soon it went to 2000 rpm's the engine died, it was the tps I had replaced but did't know how to calibrate it, I just disconnected and it ran good again.
