Tow Dolly use

Hey guys I am wanting to pull my tj to Colorado in sept. behind my motorhome. My question is can I use a tow dolly I have an automatic trans. and secondly do I have to remove the rear drive shaft. Before you ask I want to use a dolly so I can have brakes on the toad. Thanks Mike

Jeep says 4up or 4down. So yes, drop the driveshaft on a dolly.

Just remember, if you don't have a SYE, you'll lose fluid when you pull the rear shaft. Not a lot though, but it still will happen.

While that was indeed a problem for the YJ, that's not the case with the TJ. The TJ's tcase output shafts are both sealed, removing the driveshaft won't cause it to leak.
