So when I bought my jeep it had a 4 inch skyjacker lift. I changed the coils to 4.5 inch rubicon express. When I was putting the trac bar back in I had to pull my axle pretty hard to get the bolt to go in. I know this is not right and I need an adjustable Trac bar and I plan to fix it. But now when I turn my wheel to the left and it binds up and pops. I have had someone work the steering wheel and the only thing that I can tell is it seems the Trac bar is binding up and popping. Could this be?

Popping where? If a bolt is loose, then you need to tighten it. If a bushing or joint is loose, then you need to replace something.
With a 4.5" lift and a stock track bar; its time to invest in a Currie or JKS trac bar and the noise will be gone ...
