Took the lj on its shakedown run after savvy mid arm install ( and bunch or other stuff ) once back on the road I noticed my steering was sloppy. Seems the track bar was loose at axle mount - ok tighten and go! Once I got home I see the track bar hits the top of the axle mount point when I jack up the frame - it hits at about 1” before the driver side tire leaves the ground.
It also looks like this has happened before the mid arm ( it’s been4” lifted since new)
Seems I could clearance the mount and be fine but maybe another idea is out there. To be clear it drives fine no wonder/wobble or vibrations

My JKS track bar has a bend to keep it from hitting.

What track bar do you have?

No idea what I have- its similar to a MC I think being as it has a rod end ( heim joint) on the frame side and a urethane bushing on the axle end - I think MC is similar but this was installed in 2005
I like that design of yours - I’ll check it online - thanks

If your Heim joint is good, and you have access to a press, you could add a little bend to yours.

Yeesh - that’s a simple solution! I’m a bit frustrated with myself for not thinking of it. Thanks

It’s hollow - it was installed in 05 along with the pro comp 4” lift - should be simple to ad a slight bend.
