So, last year I installed a tcase drop to get rid of some vibrations. Since then, I've installed adjustable control arms all the way around. Eventually, I would like to do a tummy tuck, but for now, I would just like to get the tcase drop removed. I've got new motor mounts and 1" blocks sitting in the garage. Do I need to do the body lift at the some time? Or can that wait? And am I missing anything else to get the tcase dropped removed? It's sitting on 4" Currie Springs.

With a 4" lift you really should be installing a SYE kit and CV driveshaft. Don't be screwing with the rear pinion angle until you install a CV driveshaft.

You MIGHT get away with just a pair of 1" tall rubber motor mount lifts but even with that you may still need a little bit of a tcase drop via washers over the bolts between the frame and skidplate.

Thanks for the response, Jerry. Do I need the SYE and CV driveshaft if it's a Rubicon? For some reason, I thought I read on here at one time they weren't needed? I could be wrong, as I've been away from the forum and wrenching on the Jeep for a while now. Life got in the way, but now I'm ready to get back at making this TJ as right as I can get it.

if you do the mml before the body lift youll need to drill new mounting holes in the fan shroud to line it up with the fan.

Your good to lose the TCase drop and adjust pinion angle with the Rubicon. (edit: with a cv shaft but no sye needed)

just make sure you do the mml before the pinion angle adjustment or youll do it twice...

got a tcase shifter cable yet?

No, don't have a tcase shifter cable. I will get one ordered. Along with the body lift.
