Just finished reading the thread on Transfer Case Shift Linkage. I tow my jeep behind my RV and place the TC in neutral. It is kind of touchy so I make sure it is neutral by placing the trans in drive and reverse. No issues there, but the transmission tends to grind a bit when I place the jeep in park.

1. Is there anything wrong with me killing my engine and then putting the transmission in park?
2. Could the Savvy cable linkage solve my issues?
3. My TJ has a 1.5 BL. Could that be part of the issue?

Thanks in advance for the help.

You are trying to put it in park while the trans is still spinning. Either wait a bit longer or kill the engine then put in park.
