I'm fixing to put in a new radiator and do all my cooling system. But when I got my transmission rebuilt they put my cooler on the back side. I want to move it but don't know how I'm going to mount it. Any ideas? I really don't want to go through the radiator again. Also I know Jeep water pumps should be used but my local dealers don't have them in stock and I plan on doing it all today. Who would be the better crappy water pump to use AutoZone napa advanced?

How should I mount the cooler on the front? Any ideas?
The V-shaped radiator brace in front of the radiator makes things crowded but it's doable. Plus it is more desirable to have the transmission cooler in front of the radiator than behind it. When I did mine on my previous TJ, I used an extruded cooler from Currie that had been 'grooved' to fit over the V-bar. Blaine Johnson at www.blackmagicbrakes.com sold kits to do this, I don't know if he still has any he can put together. I used the same kit on my current TJ but since I already have a transmission cooler with a fan mounted under my current TJ, the front cooler is now a power steering system cooler.

This is my current TJ and that cooler is used for my power steering system but this is exactly how I did it on my previous TJ for its transmission cooler.

I'm kinda in rush to do it all. It's my last weekend off before my road trip. I end up getting a napa one now I'm just trying to find a way to remount my cooler. I have new radiator and condenser going in tomorrow i ran out of time today. So for my idea is to mount it with some zip ties until I can order a new cooler or mount it back to where it was not really sure.

My transmission cooler is mounted to the v support in front of the radiator.
