This I agree with completely !!
I just hope equally Trump understands he was elected to represent all Americans.... Not just those that voted for him or the ones he likes.
Both coasts, minus the south. It could probably be fixed with a mini-ice age.

On the contrary. I consider free speech of all sorts to be quite 'cool.'
You must not have listened to his post-election acceptance speech.
Free speach is the foundation of adult conversation. It is especially important to support speach that you disagree with or find offensive. It's hard to learn and grow in an echo chamber.
Edited to add: There is often a kernal of truth that can be teased out from even the most offensive or ignorant statement.

I especially like that part of what you just said. When you stay surrounded by those who only reinforce each other's political leanings, you learn to believe that anyone with different opinions are the devils themselves.

It works for modifying TJ's as well. ...and everything else in life. It's much better to have a closed mouth rather than a closed mind. Though I do say stupid shit all the time. I learn way more from being wrong then being right.

My earlier post was in reference to founded/un-founded criticisms of Donald Trump ..... by slagging Donald Trump, do you not slag every voter that voted for him? Every voter who gave him an outstanding majority?

I agree that we are all somewhat adult here ...... and that I'll get slagged for this post.
I definitely agree there can be a limit to free speech. Defining that limit is difficult, but if you for instance yell "BOMB!" on a plane and are then thereafter arrested (which you would be), you can't really get mad at them for arresting you or detaining you. You can tell the it was free speech, but when you miss your flight and have to deal with a bunch of legal bullshit, that's your own fault.
So it would see to me that some common sense should be used when invoking free speech. However, I think a lot of people lack common sense, which is an entirely different issue altogether.

The sins of the father visited on the sons? It works that way for some folks, but it's not something that I advocate or believe.
There are limits and responsibilities associated with every right.

Hopefully he is the perfect president. Keeps the federal government out of my life. Just fix the roads, fund the military, etc. etc. and let me decide how I live my life and the products I buy. Follow the Constitution strictly as they ALL swear they will do and live within their budget.
