I love the KC, and it works way better than the stock one (which was not a very high hurdle to top). Obviously a fixed light will have inherent limitations getting deeper in the engine bay, but it does a great job with everything up top for routine maintenance and inspection as seen in the second picture.
I played around with trying to find a solution to angle the light straight down when the hood was open and/or to mount a second one, since two lights are always better than one. In the end, the effort to do either was not really worth it to me since the single cyclone mounted in the center was more than sufficient for my needs, and the install was pretty clean.
