Upper steering bearing

A while back on a mission to solve a problem they didn't have , someone replaced their steering shaft with a Borgersen upper and lower , and immediately began to feel a "click" , most noticeably when turning left ...then it began to be audible in the cab and you could hear it more or less in the wheel

Apparently they may have damaged the upper shaft bearing in the column tapping the stock shaft apart and created this issue.

Is this part still made, and how huge a goof was this ?

I'm asking the shop that's doing it if they will store my tools , it would save me a fortune probably.

You know what the original pop was I thought was a bad steering shaft u joint?

A rough country dropped track bar frame mount like @Flivver250 recently posted ,popping metal to metal where it squeezes the frame from the counter force. ..and I end up screwing up the upper steering shaft bearing before it's over, and tearing up 700.00 too.

Welded the mount and fixed the original issue.

Hi. I also lost this bearing.
I used a 19.05*37*9 mm bearing.
he just didn't turn out like that. I gave it to polishing. and reduced its height to 7mm.
also because the steering shaft has a diameter of 19mm. I applied copper to the steering shaft to seal the fit. but this was not enough and I put the retaining ring. I will take a picture one of these days as it is installed. I also slightly increased the outer diameter of the fit. by hand with sandpaper.
