Value of hardtop vent

My hardtop came missing the passenger side vent and its been causing some leaking. I decided to find a replacement but there going for $80 or more for a new one online. That seems like way too much for a piece of plastic. I am now looking for used ones around my area. My question is: how much would you pay for a used vent off craigslist or kijiji?

They're worth whatever people will pay.

Since TJ parts are no longer in production, I have no doubt that someone can get $80 for a vent in good condition if they sit on it for long enough.

I just replaced mine, was missing when I bought it. I couldn’t find a used one and from what I read they are brittle and often break when removing. After putting it in it was worth every penny of $80 from a noise reduction standpoint.

Give J&W a call, it's a Jeep exclusive wrecking yard. It may be hard to get the vent though, most yards would not want to take a vent off a complete hard top. Good luck.
