Exactly. This was definitely an exercise in design (fail) instead of function (super-fail). The "Mighty FC" concept van is executed better and actually functions (though you would need a step ladder to use the front doors). It would never get mass produced but I'm still waiting for a builder to make a kit like AEV did with the Brute.

I’d imagine the pucker factor coming down off a step would be immense!

I'm super intrigued about cabover rock crawling. It would be like sitting in the front of a roller coaster. Fred and Dave built one and it looks like a lot of "smiles per gallon".
