Solenoids are reasonable, like 30 bucks. Easy to test. Might be wiring and/or plug (looked a little rough)

It's an older remote but I figured if i heard a click from the winch it wasn't the remote.
Why not 1988?
Serial number is 100k, if 88 would be in the 300k's

Old thread. I got a freebie 8274 and still ended up with about $700 in it but consider that a bargain. It didn't need the 9.5XP motor or the Albright contactor but both are great improvements.
