What is this part and how do I fix it?

Was cleaning the IAC earlier and heard air leaking and sure enough I found this split in some kind of joint in the engine bay. What is it? Also, how do I fix it? Looks like a simple replacement. Should I refrain from driving the TJ until this part is replaced? 05, 4.0. Thanks, guys!

It should be a half inch hose available from auto parts store. Duck tape it closed and go about your business.

Sounds good! Duct tape was my plan for the time being so works perfect.

I was thinking about electrical tape. It stretches and pulls tighter but temporary is temporary either way.

Just a piece oh hose from the auto shop. It probably failed from the lack of dirt and oil. That is a pretty sparklie clean engine bay.....

LOL degreaser and a quick pressure wash cleaned it up nice a few weeks back

PCV hose. Cheap and easy fix.
