What is this plug for?

I was replacing the courtesy lights underneath with leds and came across this plug... anyone know what this is for? I found one on both sides.

Hard to tell where that photo was taken but if that's inside the console, that's for the shifter illumination bulb for an automatic transmission.

Those look similar to the stock dash speaker connectors.

Each one is located near the courtesy lights underneath the drivers and passenger sides... neither plug is a part of the courtesy lights but as you can see in one of the pictures both of them are wrapped together with the wires that go to the courtesy lights.

Those look similar to the stock dash speaker connectors.

It may be stock dash speaker connections as I know the PO replaced the dash speakers.

@Jamison C runs the Forum Electrical Division. Don't do anything until he puts his stamp on it. Tell him you know where a low mileage white Rubi with tan interior is and he will let you zip tie those to the dash. I guarantee it.

Those are 100% the front speaker plugs. One side has brown wires the other side has violet.
