When does your top go back on?

Where I live, if you have a jk your hardtop is always on. I put mine on my tj around mid November or early December.

It was one of my "must have's" when I was searching... I've seen quite a few on Craigslist in really good shape for $600-$800 (way better than $1,200- $2,000) Keep your radar on while you save!

I look around on CL about twice a week. Around here they go for $1,000-$1,500, the cheapest one I've seen is $700 & it was in bad shape. I'm saving for a new one & about a million other J.e.e.p. things, Lol. :Laie_22mini:

As late as possible - but mine only has a soft top, so it really means putting the windows back on. I'd like to delay this until after my birthday. If the parental units write a check like they usually do, a new soft top may be on order shortly thereafter!

ill put my soft top and sides windows back up in about two weeks. Mainly because rainy season is upon us and I want to make sure the jeep gets driven once a week through-out the winter to keep everything moving.

Put on the soft top for the first time in 2+ years to go to UT, Co and AZ. Got a great shock the first time it rained. Back seat got soaked. Then on the way home we got caught in this hurricane type wind and rain hitting Oregon. When we got to the house ALL of the interior was soaked.
Hard top going on now!

Kids are home for school, so today's the day for me to switch from soft to hard top....of course I just checked the weather and 80's are predicted for next week...

Hardtop usually gets put on in November around here.

Hard top finally went back on yesterday, made it to December this year...I put mine on with a Harbor Freight engine hoist. Two straps, pick it up, roll it to the Jeep, set it on. It takes longer to take off the soft top than put on the hard top.
