I have just purchased a 1998 Wrangler SE, and a prior owner replaced the original soft top with a hard top. The jeep is maroon with tan interior.

I am looking to put a soft top, as close to the original as possible, back on it.

What am I looking for and where is the best place to get it?

Thanks for your assistance!

If you buy one, buy one from Bestop. Bestop is the OE manufacturer of the factory soft tops. Their tops are just as good in quality as the factory soft tops. The hardware fits perfectly and the top is quiet and leakproof.

If you can afford it, consider the Bestop in Twill fabric. The Twill is much thicker and quieter than even the factory sailcloth soft top, and will last a very long time. When I first got mine, it was quieter than my hardtop.

This top is far from cheap, but should provide you a decade or more of reliable service:

I wonder if you can get just the twill fabric and windows. I don’t need new hardware and I don’t care about the freedom top.
