Today was one of those days when you wake up and you don’t want to go to work. No, that’s not every day, but I know for some of you it may be. Wheeling helps me get away from everything and think and have a clear head and pray too! Today was one of those days and I went out solo. First time I’ve ever wheeled by myself without any kids in the car and no other Jeeps. Fortunately, I know the owner of an OHV Park, and he is gracious enough to let me come and wheel anytime I want.

Now, I missed having some of my wheelin buddies out there, and I was told to be safe, but it was one of those days where you just have to go for it, be smart, learn to pick lines better, and focus on how to drive your Jeep. It paid off big time...

Hope you’re out there wheelin’! That’s what our Jeeps are made for, getting away from it all and enjoying the great outdoors.

Why do you wheel?

Nice! And, looks like you'll be getting a nice surprise tomorrow too! I go out solo on occasion to relax, clear my mind, and have a little one on one time with my jeep.

I have never rock crawled with another Jeep. I know it’s not recommended for many reasons but it has always just been me and my wife.
I would love to have someone there to spot me on the sketchy stuff.

To see the beautiful country we have in these parts, just to see how far I can get "out" there. I have found all kinds of old farms and homesteads that have been abandoned for decades. I have even found some old single graves out in the middle of no where. Love history and wondering what life was like back then.

Love those shots @JMT and I'd take that 'office' with a view anytime.
Driving in general (out of the city) clears my head but since having my Jeep I just strip it down (Doors and soft top off) and head out to some of the smaller country unpaved roads.....I just wrap up warm in Winter.
