Hello everybody. I'm PawPaw.
I am a long time Jeeper. I actually have two Jeeps right now. My 2000 wrangler and a 97 XJ. I have owned and wrenched on many over the years. I just swapped out my Dana 35 with 3.73 gears that I tore up on trip out to Colorado, Moab, and California with a Rubi Dana 44 that was already regeared to 4.56. I finished the swap just a couple days ago. Took me a few days working on the ground in my driveway in the mornings and the evenings. Too hot here in TX to work straight through. Still need to get the locker pump and indicator switch all worked out but she is drivable now. Just no four wheel drive until I have the front gears matching.
I haven't been too involved in a forum in quite some time since I was big in my XJ forum. I was The Dude over there. All of my sons have Jeeps or had one. Two still do.
I hope to have some fun and make some forum pals while wrenching on this old gal and taking her some more places.
