Will these JL Rubicon wheels fit my TJ?

That's what I was afraid of. Will a 2 inch lift do it? These wheels and tires are off a brand new Rubicon and I can buy all 5 for a great price.
Depends on who you ask, and what you intend to do with your Jeep. 2" will juuust get you by, especially if you add long enough bumpstops to keep the tires off the flares as the axle articulates. You could drive it on the street, but not much more. 3" will clear, yet still won't require any special control arms, although in either case, you will need to lower the transfer case a bit, or do some other more extensive modifications, or you'll get some nasty vibrations due to the change in the angle of the driveshafts. Gearing of the Jeep will be affected, so you will feel like you're down on power. mpg will go down, speedometer will read slow. I see your just joining us, so search around a bit, and just be aware that there are a number of things to consider when you want to put bigger tires and wheels on your Jeep. That great price may end up costing more than you think once you start into it.
Thank you for your reply. It sounds like too much for my 1st mod. I do need new tires. My stock 15" wheels are in great shape. I would like to put something a little bigger on them or swith to a sixteen maybe. What can I do?
If you're running stock suspension, then a 31" tire is about as large as you'll want to go in order to prevent any rubbing.
BFGoodrich KO2s or Goodyear Duratracs are tires with a good reputation around here. Personally, I'm running with 31" duratracs and love them. You do get a bit of tire noise, but it's not bad and the wind noise from the Jeep's stellar aerodynamics (lol) tend to drone that out at high speeds anyways.

Nice looking Jeep. I like the look of those tires. I think I will go with 31s for now and spend my money on mechanical issues. I've got a grinding 2nd gear that I have to deal with now! Thank for your help and the link.
32's can work with a 2 to 2 1/2 inch lift. Cooper AT3 are another good choice. Good on snowy/icy roads. Very quiet. Come in load range C. And have a 60,000 mile warranty.
Any tire larger than about 30.5" on a stock TJ is going to start needing extended bump stops. Extended bump stops decrease suspension travel. Add lift or add clearance to restore lost suspension travel.
