If both of these screws are removed at the same time, does the nutplate the screws go into fall into a hard to reach area?
I was adding some light mounts and loosened both screws and after pulling the first screw completely out, the nutplate shifted and wasn't lined up with the opening anymore. I was able to install the brackets by replacing one screw, rotate the bracket, pull the second screw and then align the bracket and reinstall the new screw, so I didn't lose the nutplate, but it got me to wondering what would happen if I had pulled both screws out at the same time.
