Windshield RUST

I've been looking at rust behind the dash for a couple of years... today lift the roof, fold the windshield, scrape, grind, prime, paint. Lots of fun trying to get paint inside the frame. Any replacement frame options out there ??

I've got the same issue. It seems like used frames in good condition are kind of hard to come by. Unfortunately, I'm unaware of any other options besides that.

Yeah, no rust on my TJ anywhere but on the inside of the windshield frame....WTF!

My windshield does not show any of that - however my windshield cracked last fall and I finally had it replaced this spring. Turned out the windshield had been replaced once before and the installer did not deal properly with some rust in the window channel and the swelling of the rust under the window pushed out the glass and caused it to crack. I did see that one of the Jeep parts places (was it Extreme?) has replacement window frames. I will do that next time.
