I have a 2005 sport with the console sub. The guy I bought it off of didn’t have the original head unit. I would like everything to be original…. My question is about the original head unit. Do all the eBay used head units I am looking at work with the console sub woofer and all different speaker configurations? Some have audio fader knobs on front (RBK?) and there is another option too. Thanks.

The problem with the factory stereos and why everybody replaces them is because they sound like ass. Really bad. And the disc reader breaks if you look at it.
But yes, any stereo you install should work fine with the factory sub, assuming the factory sub still works. It has it's own integrated amp and I don't believe the factory stereo has any way to interface with it to adjust crossover/sub volume or anything like that.
