Wrangler woes

My failed cat caused a misfire code.
I thought the same thing when my cats plugged the 1st time, and that may have been the case on the 1st go around. I replaced the cats and later got more misfire codes. Like the OP, a new coil rail solved the misfire, but apparently not in time to save the new cats. Had to do that job again within a year.

Replaced my cats 3 years ago, all has been well. Roughly 10k miles ago.

Hmm, now you have me wondering about my coil pack. Time to look into diagnosis so I don't ruin the soon-to-be-installed Magnaflow set.

I've figured the ~$300 market for cats have just been garbage, since they last 20k after replacing the OEM around 107k miles.
