Changing out front bumper. Used heat like suggested in forum. Still buggered up and wrung off one bolt. Is drilling and tapping my only option? The loctite on this TJ is incredible.

Man I know exactly how you feel. When we replaced my rear shocks about a month ago we rang off 3 out of the 4 bolts on the top of the shocks, two of them we drilled and used an easy out. Tried drilling the third one and the bits just stopped halfway through, burnt through 7 bits and didn't make any progress. We ended up blowing the bolt out with a combination of a plasma cutter and air chisel. Then used a larger bolt to replace it. I hope you don't have to resort to those measures. Maybe the easy out will do it for you so you don't have to tap new threads.

I don't think an easy out will do anything with this loctite. Probably will need to grind off bottom of bolt. Just hope won't have to burn bolt out.
Yeah, I read different options. Consensus was that oem jeep loctite is developed to melt at certain temp

Which bolt?
I removed the front bumpers on both my 99 and 00 TJ's without any issues. They just popped and starting turning.
Had to cut off about 1 1/4" of the plastic cover between the grill and bumper. All bolt holes lined up and used grade 8 bolts to secure.
We have a bunch around here. Winch one day on that plate. Hooked everything up an flat towed behind my F150
